Donato's Pizzeria
Ignoring his dad's notion that "pizza was just a fad," OSU sophomore Jim Grote in 1963 put down $1,300 for a small Columbus pizzeria and put his parents to work. Donatos menu (Motto: "Respect the Pizza") now varies at 180 locations in seven states.
